He became one of the century’s foremost composers with highly influential music that had a distinctive bland of classical, folk and jazz idioms. An Oscar-winning writer of film scores as well, Copland died on December 2, 1990.
One of Aaron Copland's famous quote:To stop the flow of music would be like stopping time itself, incredible and inconceivable
This quote shows and let people understand the importance of music
My tribute plan is to make my person out of bronze so he could survive harsh weather, and surviving harsh weather basically means that he worked hard and never gave up. my statue will be placed in France where he was influenced by a wonderful teacher Nadia Boulanger. I put him in France because that's where he studied music and got to understand the true meaning of music. it gave him an opportunity to hear and absorb all the most recent trends in European music.
The statue will include him standing at a bronze desk and a bronze stick he will be conducting with. he will be painted white and black because he will be wearing a tuxedo. His desk will be painted brown color to make it look like a wooden desk.
There will be a metal paper stand on the desk to hold his paper and will be colored black. His hair will be white showing that he died old.
My person was a great conductor and a great composer and will always live on, and be remembered with my statue of him in France!
