famous Quote: "you can put things off until tomorrow, but tomorrow may never come."
Early life
Gloria Estefan was a very well known lady for her music she is still alive and at the age of fifty-seven and still A great singer. She was born September first in 1957. She has four people in her family including he mom named Gloria Fajardo and her dad Jose Fajardo. Gloria had a childhood with up and downs. Gloria's dad had moved his family to Miami, Fl and then a year later he went to Cuba to fight the leader Castro. Unfortunately Elimo got caught and sent to prison. While in Miami Gloria and her mother were in a small apartment with six-teen people. One year later Gloria's dad came back and he decided that he wasn't done fighting so went into the Vietnam war and came back with major injury's. While Gloria's mom was at work she had to take care of her father and when she was depressed Gloria went into her room and music really just calmed her down and made her believe that every thing will be okay.
Starting her music life
Gloria graduated from The University of Miami in 1979 and a degree in physiology and a minor in french. Once Gloria graduated she met her husband at a wedding he was performing at and he asked her to sing with them and she started the band one week later. The band was called the Miami Sound Machine after Gloria came to the band but before the band was called "Miami latin boys" and they sang Latin music and some pop music. Gloria and Elimio soon got married and had two children together Nayib (34) Emily Marie (20). Nayib was an actor and Emily which is starting her music career just like her mother. When Gloria was in college she worked at a Miami airport and she spoke many languages like french, Spanish, and English translator. In 1990 her music career came to a stop. Gloria, Nayib, and Elimio were all on a bus to one of Gloria's concert's. They were on the bus and Niyab and Elimio were in the bed sleeping then Gloria was on the couch reading a book. Then the bus flipped and and Gloria fell right on her back. Nayib and Elimio were just slightly injured with some bruises. They were all okay but Gloria had to stay off her feet for a little while that meant she couldn't sing for a little bit. She got back to singing one month later.
Front and center
Front and center
In 2008 Gloria won Latin recording academy person of the year. She won 13 awards and two Grammy's. The first Grammy was for the best traditional pop vocal album and the second one was for the best long form music video. Gloria was always front and center and loved to sing and I choose a microphone to tribute her because Gloria loved to be front in center and when she was a child she always loved to sing with a imaginary microphone that would calm her down when she was worried about her father and all his medical problems.
Just for Gloria
Gloria's child hood may have been rough but music really kept her alive. As you know Gloria's dad was a very brave man going to fight Castro and then fight in the Vietnam war when he got home he was really sick and Gloria had to take care of him while her mother was at work. When Gloria was stressed she went into her room and just got a microphone and just sang what she was stressing about and calmed her down and that's why I choose to have a microphone as a tribute to show people and she would want me to inspire her by telling people you may be going through a rough time you can get through it. My microphone will be placed right in her home country Havana, Cuba for many reasons because everybody that knew Gloria knew her because singing and music just her personality. That's also for he amazing strength with everything that went on in her life good and bad she is one amazing talented women that never gives up and that really inspired me to make this microphone as best as I can to really inspire other people by her talent.
