Notes in red are regulations that need to be followed in Monroe Central.
James Monroe was a highly influential and astoundingly famous man who was the fifth president of the United States. His most famous and fascinating achievement during his rich presidency was the Monroe Doctrine (above, slideshow), which ordered Europe to stay out and quit their interference on America's personal affairs.
Monroe was specifically born on April 28, 1758 to Spence Monroe and Elizabeth Jones Monroe. James had an excellent education and spent 5 years (from 11-16 yrs.) receiving and acquiring education at home from his mother. After his private schooling, James attended William and Mary University for quite some time, until the Revolutionary War disrupted his college years.
James was a rich officer in the Continental Army who was obedient to the army's chief, George Washington. James was so popular that during the Delaware River Crossing, he assisted George Washington! Take a look at the slideshow! The man behind George Washington (head man, standing) is none other than James Monroe himself! However, during his battles, he was severely wounded and took some medical operation.
James soon returned to study political attributes under Thomas Jefferson, and entered the political areas shortly. Soon, he became President on 1816. However, when he entered the presidential area, tensions were heightening between the United States and the European countries. Europe was badly threatening America, and they attempted in a variety of times to successfully interfere with American affairs. This irritated the colonies, and James Monroe had to do something about it.
To prevent Europe from taking care of American business, James established the Monroe Doctrine, the doctrine that specifically stated that Europe stay out of America's personal business. James's respect heightened after this, because many people were immensely worried that Europe would go incorrect somewhere.
James gained so much popularity that he won a second term---No one else ran against him! After James got the second term, he worked diligently on improving America!
There is a specific plan for a memorial that I am planning to create in remembrance to James Monroe, which is named Monroe Central. Monroe Central contains a gigantic piece of land equivalent to almost 1,000,000 acres! This large portion of land is related to James Monroe because he was a huge president and reigned with authority during that time.
The most magnificent and wondrous portion of the land is the Nature Reserve, spanning at 300,000 acres. It contains a variety of birds that ONLY PROFESSIONAL HUNTERS CAN HUNT. If you are found hunting birds without a professional license, you will be escorted to leaving the center. The birds make up the vast majority of the Reserve, but there are some other animals as well, and it is illegal to hunt them. ThThis is related to James Monroe's personal life since he appreciated hunting game for his family, during his youth.
There are also a lot of tourist attractions, such as the Museum of the Life, which details Monroe's personal life. There are a variety of layers, each going from a different time period. The four layers are: Youth, Wartime, Presidency, and Death. The museum itself is constructed from marble because Monroe was valuable, and meant a lot to everyone, just like marble.
There are a lot of wondrous and beautiful things, but what good are them if you cannot spend the night, and see things more than just one day? Well, you can, with the White Inn. The White Inn is a hotel designed and intended to look just like the White House, only smaller and less royal. The maximum amount of nights you can spend there is 13 nights, since there were 13 colonies back then.
There a lot of fun tourist attractions in the area, as well. There is one thing called the Presidential Simulator. In this particular attraction, you will be taken to a place called the Simulation Facility, where you (and some audiences) will be able to see a video on James Monroe's presidency. After that, the seats will move and you will be taken to a fake White House! Here, you can see a holographic Monroe and his presidential life!
What are some other beauties in the area? Well, in front of the museum, there are European flags and American flags in a beautiful flag line! There are also some statues; the most famous ones is this statue: The Monroe Complex. That is everything that are attributes to my memorial.
