P.T. BARNUMPhineas Taylor Barnum was born 1810, Bethel, Connecticut, U.S., but sadly, he died April 7, 1891, Bridgeport Connecticut. P.T. Barnum was an American Showman who did awesome forms to present really amazing performances. He made the American circus very popular, it was then called "The Greatest Show on Earth" . The two images below show what made him famous and these were his biggest hits (The Barnum Museum, and his circus show, which was soon called the "Greatest Show on Earth").

FAMOUS QUOTE:" Fortune always favors the brave, and never helps a man who does not help himself ".
From,
P.T. Barnum
Between 1842, when Barnum took over the American Museum, and 1868, when he gave it up after fires twice had all but destroyed it, Barnum’s amazing showmanship got over 20 million visitors!
Although his name has been popularly linked with the circus, Barnum did not become a circus showman until he was past age 60. Barnum did not invent the modern circus, but in partnership with the retiring, helpful Bailey, he gave the American display its biggest size, its most memorable attractions, and its widest popularity, trying to make it what he called “The Greatest Show on Earth". Barnum capped his circus career by getting a six-and-a-half-ton elephant named Jumbo, who quickly earned back his purchase price during his first season below the top. The video below gives info about P.T. Barnum (success story). Also, it gives 3 action moves that you could to to model the successes of Barnum. The video then ends with a true story about P.T. Barnum.

Tribute Plan
First, I chose my tribute to be his circus named the "Greatest Show on Earth" and his museum, which is named "The Barnum Museum", because first he was one of the worlds best American showman at the circus and that is what almost made him a millionaire!! I also chose his museum with my tribute also because his museum was named after him (Barnum Museum) and he got over 20 million people in his museum, which is really cool! So I knew I could not miss that either.
Next, I also chose "Barnum's Ballistic Museum and Circus" as my tribute name because I want my name to be both catchy, and tell what the tribute is about. So to me, I think this name does both. I also think that the name is true, because Barnum's shows were ballistic in my opinion (Ballistic means mind-blowing BTW).
Also, I chose my tribute to be made out of, bronze, steel, metal, and iron because I think that Barnum was a really hard worker so the fact that these materials are hard and Barnum works hard, is a great way to represent his hard work best.
I then chose "Fortune Always Favors the Brave, and Never Helps a Man Who Does not Help Himself" as my quotation by Barnum cause that suits him best because I think that is takes a lot of bravery and courage to go in a circus with a huge crowd, and I think Barnum goes through that a lot. So I think this quotation suits him best.
Lastly, I will make the size of my tribute huge! (100 ft. in height, 40 ft. in length, and 20 ft. in width) I would did this cause P.T Barnum had 20 million people in his museum named the "Barnum Museum" and his circus show was so-called "The Greatest Show on Earth" so I thought that I need a lot of space for the people.
To end this, I would love to thank my resources, which is where I got my information from. These include, Britannica.com P.T. Barnum, Brainy quote.com, BridgeportCT.Gov, wildcatbluenation.com these are my resource that I think really helped me. So thanks!!
